3rd Brazilian Workshop on Smart Cities (WBCI2022)

The WBCI2022 happen on 3--4 August 2022 in the city of Niterói/RJ (Brazil).

This work the WBCI happen as a Satelite Event of the 42º Congresso da Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (CSBC 2022).

WBCI is an international workshop organized in Brazil that aims to attract original contributions with an interdisciplinary approach, both in the field of technology and in the humanities, focusing on the development and use of computer systems and their relationship with the macro topic of Smart Cities (and its various variants). The event is an opportunity to bring together researchers, students and professionals who work directly or indirectly on this topic of Smart Cities, as well as the unfolding of the use of technologies in the urban context, also for smart regions and territories.

This year edition of WBCI has a special session "Colóquios em Blockchain e Web Descentralizada", being organized in partnership with the Technical Committee in Blockchain (CT-Blockchain) of the Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP), with focus in advances of research and industry communities, with subject on blockchain and smart cities.
